24/7 line · 214-342-5300

Effective date: June 12, 2026

United Protective Services, Inc. ("United Protective Services," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at united-protective.com (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights available to you — including rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA).

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide. When you request a quote, schedule a consultation, apply for a job, or contact us, we collect details such as your name, company, email address, phone number, property or service details, and any message you send. Forms on this Site are processed through our forms provider (HubSpot).
  • Automatically collected information. Like most websites, we automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring URLs through cookies and similar technologies.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not sell the personal data of any individual we know to be under 18.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide quotes, consultations, and services.
  • To process and evaluate employment applications.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
  • To measure website performance and understand how visitors use the Site.
  • With your consent, to deliver and measure relevant advertising.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and the safety of others.

Cookies & tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site secure, remember your preferences, measure performance, and—only with your consent—support advertising. We group them into:

  • Strictly necessary — required for security and core functionality. Always active.
  • Analytics & performance — help us understand site usage so we can improve it.
  • Targeted advertising — used to measure and personalize ads. Off by default until you opt in.

Analytics and advertising tags are managed through Google Tag Manager and load only in accordance with your consent choices (using Google Consent Mode). We honor browser-level opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).

You can change your choices at any time using the panel, also linked in our footer.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only:

  • With service providers who help us operate the Site and our business (for example, our forms/CRM provider and analytics providers), under contracts that limit their use of the data.
  • When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
  • In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition.

Your Texas privacy rights

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas residents have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal data and access it.
  • Correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
  • Delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you.
  • Obtain a portable copy of your personal data.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of your personal data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@united-protective.com or 214-342-5300. We will respond as required by law. You may appeal a decision regarding your request by replying to our response. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

You may also opt out of advertising-related tracking at any time through the Cookie Preferences panel or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser.

Data retention & security

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
